In addition to his inspirational leadership books ÉVEILLER L’INVISIBLE POUR RÉALISER L’IMPOSSIBLE (“Awaken the Invisible to Achieve the Impossible”) and L’EXCEPTIONNEL POUVOIR DE VOTRE POTENTIEL (“The Exceptional Power of Your Potential”), Martin has also written the national bestseller Dix aiguilles (English version: Ten Needles), which tells the story of Sean Collins, a 13-year-old boy with cancer who wanted to achieve a final dream before dying – publishing a book on his life.
Martin volunteered to walk hand-in-hand with Sean toward fulfilling his final dream with the goal of donating 100% of funds raised to children with cancer. Today, Ten Needles has sold more than 20,000 copies, raising more than $170,000 for children and others with cancer.
The inspiring story was covered on the front page of Yahoo.ca, on CBC Radio’s Sounds Like Canada, 98.5 FM, TVA, RDI in Atlantic Canada and nationally, and on Entertainment Tonight Canada.
It sounds funny to say, but after La Sagouine, Martin Latulippe is, to my knowledge, one of the bestselling authors that Acadie has ever known.
